“How to Change the World chronicles the birth of the most significant environmental protest movement in history perpetrated by the wildest bunch of hippie eco-freaks the world has ever seen. Greenpeace founders knew the power of images and that media attention was crucial, so they recorded everything: A goldmine of 16 mm footage reveals the danger, bickering, privation and just plain weirdness. The journey of a rag-tag collection of draft dodgers, spiritual seekers and journalists became the global environmental movement that transcends Greenpeace today.” – Sebastopol Film Festival
A bit of my footage made it into this award winning doc. Some of the founders and filmmakers were at the Sebastopol Film Festival, where this first showed in Northern California.
